I believe God has had a hand on my life since its beginning. I was born in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and grew up in Los Angeles. Under the care of my mom and aunt, I attended church occasionally. In high school I attended Young Life and it was there that I made the decision to believe in Jesus for my salvation. After high school I joined the navy, which brought me to Washington State.
During my military service, and through the influence of mentors, I was inspired to pursue business. I earned my business degree at the University of Washington (Go Huskies!) and went on to work in financial management and to manage teams in California, New York, and Washington. I wasn’t really walking with the Lord at the time, but through a series of events He got a hold of my heart and I decided to live fully for Him.
The Lord led me to begin attending Antioch Bible Church, where He used that time to root and establish me in the faith and grow me up spiritually. It was at Antioch that I met and married my wife, Cori, and we started our family.
Since then, we have become business owners and God has blessed us with the ability to provide jobs and leadership for our company. Also in that time we have spent several years serving another local church in their life group and children’s ministries. I spent several years leading a men’s Bible study and currently lead a life group in our home.
In the fall of 2015 my wife and I began talking with James and Linda about the possibility of starting a church. Through many discussions and prayer, we believe God has led us to start Montage with His blessing and His gifting. We are excited about the people God has already begun to draw to this church and we believe God has big plans to reach our community.
When I’m not involved in thinking up my next business idea, you might find me cheering on the football team at Husky stadium, playing Madden on Xbox, or playing on the golf course.
