church membership

Commitment. Accountability. belonging.

At Montage, we value commitment to God's Word and commitment to one another. One clear way to express that one-another commitment is by becoming a Member.

Membership at Montage is a four-step process:

1. Attend the Membership Matters class (register below)

2. Complete the Membership Application (given at the class)

3. Complete a pastoral/elder interview

4. Be recognized as a new member at a Sunday service

Believer's baptism is a prerequisite for membership.

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ and have not yet been baptized, we would be thrilled to help you take this step!

Register below.

Membership Matters is offered every November and May. The class meets on two Sundays after church with lunches provided (plan to attend both). We will cover important topics, such as:

  • Who We Are - Essential characteristics that define our church
  • Why Membership Matters - Reasons membership is both biblical and beneficial
  • What We Believe - Our foundation for faith and ministry
  • What Happens Now - Opportunities to serve and be served

If you are curious about membership at Montage, you are encouraged to sign up for the next class. The class will help you see why church membership really does matter. An application for membership will be provided at the class.

montage bylaws

Part of becoming a church member requires reading our Bylaws. These are the formal and legal principles by which our church is governed. The bylaws document requires a password to view, which is given in the Membership Matters class.
