LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE
Montage is an Elder-led church. Our Elders are qualified men (1 Tim 3:2-7; 2 Tim 2:22-25; Titus 1:6-9; 1 Pet 5:1-5) who provide the overall spiritual care of the church. They are responsible to Christ, the Head of the Church. We are purposefully slow and careful at calling men to the position of Elder (1 Timothy 5:22) making sure they are trained and proven qualified for this high calling.
The Elders meet together regularly to pray for the congregation, discuss the spiritual matters of the church, and make decisions for the direction of the church as the Lord guides them.
Our Deacons/Deaconesses serve at the request of the Elders in practical duties to care for the church and are qualified individuals according to the teaching of 1 Tim 3:8-13. There is no separate Deacon board.
Ministry Leaders work under the direction of the Lead pastor and Elders to carry out the vision and mission of the church.
