Looking to Jesus’ relationship with the disciples as our ultimate example of discipleship, we desire to engage those in our shepherding care in one-on-one or one-on-a-few relationships. We call these smaller connections “alongsider relationships” (Life Groups). These alongsider relationships allow men to have a focused and intentional time to disciple & invest in other men, and likewise for women to have a focused and intentional time to disciple & invest in other women. As a Life Group, the core objective is to initiate and facilitate these connections and relationships.

At Montage Bible Church our passion is to produce “multiplying disciples”. Multiplication is a function and result of the gospel working in the hearts of believers to share the gospel and disciple others through the empowerment of the Spirit. As a church, we strongly believe that part of the make-up of a disciple of Jesus, who properly understands the gospel, is a desire to welcome and invite new members (both Christians and non-Christians) into the discipleship process. Life Groups will continually challenge their members to engage those outside of the group with the gospel and seek to develop future community group leaders.
